I love NPR. I listen to it on the radio and it’s really just different. Have you ever turned it on and just noticed that there is just something really different about that station? Of course, it’s a talk station but that’s not what I mean. The stories are so in depth and interesting and it may be an acquired taste but they talk about some stuff that you don’t often hear other places. The other thing that I like about them is the way that the hosts’ voices sound. I don’t think it is just the actual tone of their voices but more of the quality of the broadcast. I wonder if I am the only one who notices such things? Well, they were one of the parties to first cover this story.
Well, I was browsing Digg due to an unfortunate bout of insomnia and I came across the official totals of Texas which I have not even heard mentioned (and I watch CNN throughout the day). As it turns out, in the important area of delegates, Obama won more of them. She won the primary; he won the caucuses. So shouldn’t she stop with the whole she won all the states that matter?

I find it troubling that our media and press has not covered this or mentioned it and that we have to rely on outside sources. Is it because our press is lazy or inept? Is Hillary or her husband or both too powerful? Why is no one calling her to task? Will the people of Pennsylvania?
I understand that in politics, a lot of it is like advertising. The Big Mac never looks like the commercial. I get that. But there is a big difference between dressing something up and outright lying. Isn’t that what we are trying to get rid of? Please fellow voters, let’s work. When our candidates say something, take it upon yourself to research the facts. You can’t trust fact check because they actually stated that Hillary did do a little something something in Ireland. Do we really disregard the major players? Is lighting the Christmas Tree the equivalent of participating in bringing peace to Ireland? My answer…Hell no.
Hillary Clinton had no direct role in bringing peace to Northern Ireland and is a “wee bit silly” for exaggerating the part she played, according to Lord Trimble of Lisnagarvey, the Nobel Peace Prize winner and former First Minister of the province.

How is it that Hillary Clinton has managed to slip and slid her way through the last round of primaries coming away with a round of victories while having the unmitigated gall to talk about the old “nudge, nudge, wink, wink? Oh, I know…its because she knows first hand about the nudging and winking.

Well, here we all are again. Americans are always saying that they can’t stand the negative ads of politics. We all claim to want to talk about the issues. We all say that we have been lulled into complacency by the same old same old when the elections roll around. But finally we have a candidate who has moved the nation; maybe not everyone in the nation, but a pretty good chunk of it.
